How to write a proper college paper

In the first line of the upper left corner you need to put your name, the date on the next line, then the course number and the section, each on their separate line. Then move to the next line, align the text in the centre, and write the title of your paper. Go to the next line and start the first paragraph of your paper with an indent.

Likewise, you may be asked to include page numbers only for longer assignments. Your college essay will be formatted a lot like the books you read, with the first line of each paragraph being indented. Typically, the first line indent is .5 inch. Also, your college essay should be left aligned, as opposed to centering the text on the page.

Writing a good college essay often starts with formulating a thesis statement. A thesis is an idea that you think is a true one and your task is to convince your college paper readers in its authenticity. Though the assignment seems to be an easy one, you shouldn’t haste in starting your writing process.

In the next line, you will write your professor’s name. This will be your subject’s professor name. You will be writing his first name and last name which will be preceded by the word “Professor”. The next line would have the name of your course.
